02 · A NOTE FROM HECTOR
I’m figuring this out
by building things.
I’m Hector. I spent my career in nonprofit leadership, not software engineering. Now I’m building small software products with AI and sharing what I learn along the way.
The confusing bits. The mistakes. The useful prompts. The things I wish someone had explained in plain English.
This kit gives another beginner a place to start. You’ll still need to test your idea, check what AI builds, and do the work.

03 · A FEW QUESTIONS
A couple of things
you might be wondering.
Do I need to know how to code?
You can use the planner, checklist, and roadmap without writing code. Building the app comes later. You’ll need to learn your tools, test the result, and get help with anything you don’t understand.
Is this the $8 mini-course?
This is the free starter kit. The planned mini-course will walk through one specific skill in 10 short lessons. The kit is useful on its own, and there’s no course to buy here.
Will this get me paying customers?
No guide can promise that. The goal here is to help you choose a real problem, define a small first version, and learn what to test with potential customers.
